WHO WE ARE

Providing Compassionate

Representation

We have been practicing together as Kochan & Stephenson for more than thirty years.  Our practice consists entirely of employment cases on behalf of employees.

The cornerstone of our practice is our relationship with our clients.  We do no advertising and instead rely entirely on word of mouth.  Most of our clients are referred to our office by former clients and a significant number are referred by defense counsel against whom we have previously litigated or by defense witnesses we have previously deposed.

Our cases are on behalf of people who have been mistreated.  Often they are vulnerable because they are low wage earners.  Sometimes they are vulnerable because they speak out.  And sometimes they are vulnerable because of their differences.  They suffer emotional hardship and often financial loss as well. We find their plight compelling and fighting on their behalf extremely satisfying.
